Beschreibung

The best-selling 8-bit home computer the Commodore 64, developed by Commodore in 1982, is a nostalgic device for many computer enthusiasts. However, the name Commodore 64 is usually too long and many people call it C64 or, because of its shape, “bread bin”. The C64 was sold approximately over 20 million times as it was very popular.
The C64 is one of the oldest home computers and is one of the first to have a sound chip. The sound chip in the C64 is the MOS 6581 from SID technology.
The C64 has a MOS 6510 processor with a clock frequency of 1MHz.
It has 64 KiB RAM and 20 KiB ROM.
For the graphics, the C64 has a graphics chip from MOS technology, the MOS 6569/8565.
The addition of the sound chip was expensive, which is why the C64 was initially priced at 1,495 D-Marks, but this price fell to 899 D-Marks the following year and in 1984 to 548 D-Marks.
The serial number of this C64 is A332762
