Auf dem Buchdeckel ist eine schwarz-weiße Fotografie zweier Kinder am Strand abgebildet, weitere Bilder sind im Buch enthalten. Auf der Innenseite befindet sich ein Ex libris (Aufkleber, der zur Kennzeichnung des:der Eigentümer:in dient). Darauf ist handschriftlich mit blauem Füller R. Schmidt sowie ein weiter, möglicherweise älterer Name mit Sütterlin vermerkt. Das Buch entstammt der Sammlung der Friedensbibliothek.
