Ein Kalenderblatt für den Monat August aus einem sowjetischen Kalender. Der Kalender wurde in einer Auflage von 1,5 Millionen Stück veröffentlicht. Das Bild zeigt den Philosophen Friedrich Engels, dessen Todestag sich am 5. August (1895) jährt. Unter der Abbildung befindet sich ein Zitat Lenins. Die Tage sind bis zum 18. August durchgestrichen. Die insgesamt fünf Kalenderblätter wurden von einem Wehrmachtssoldaten aus der Sowjetunion nach Deutschland gebracht.
