Eine 50-Pfennig-Briefmarke aus der Briefmarkenserie "40. Jahrestag der Befreiung vom Faschismus". Die Briefmarke wurde vom Grafikdesigner Manfred Gottschall 1985 in der DDR entworfen. Abgebildet sind zwei Wissenschaftler der Mikroelektronik bei der Arbeit. Links oben befindet sich die Darstellung von einem offenen Mikroelektronik-Schaltkreis.
